Whether you have several missing teeth or just one, it’s serious business;
Each missing tooth must be replaced.
Although bridges and removable dentures are better than doing nothing, only dental implants can prevent the potentially very serious bone loss that occurs every time a tooth is lost.
Having a single dental implant in our offices, or several at a time, avoids many problems later, namely bone atrophy and the migration of neighboring and antagonistic teeth which will have less support.
The dental implant is an artificial titanium root that will be placed to replace the root of a missing tooth, after a precise 3D radiological examination, called Cone Beam.
Once the implant is placed, 3 to 4 months will be needed for the bone to heal around the implant and stabilize it.
Then, the pillar and the crown on the implant will be made so that the patient can chew on his new crown fixed on the implant.
